Expected 2-week pool maintenance has remained on schedule. We are expecting to reopen on Monday, February 13, 2023.

Registration
Online registration for Winter 2023 Water Aerobics is now open. Morning Lap Swim does not require pre-registration at this time.

Swim Lessons
Swim Lessons Spring 2023 - TBD
The City of Monterey Park offers swim lessons for a wide range of ages and skill levels. Swim Lessons will be held at George Elder Park Pool, pending staff availability. In accordance with the learn-to-swim program, set to American Red Cross standards, swimmer pre-requisites must be met in order to advance to upper-level classes.

Morning Lap Swim
For the fitness conscious looking for a great low-impact workout, Morning Lap Swim is available at George Elder Park Pool. Lap Swim lanes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis with no registration required. Locker rooms are available for changing, showering, and restroom use.
Morning Lap Swim hours are:
Monday - Friday 6:00-8:00 a.m.
Saturday & Sunday 6:00-10:00 a.m.
Fees
The City of Monterey Park accepts cash, check, and credit card as forms of payment. Please make checks payable to the City of Monterey Park. Payment is accepted at the pool. All fees will increase July 1st per City Council resolution no.11771.

Summer Recreational Swim - Returning Summer 2023
Summer Recreational Swim will resume at George Elder Park Pool (1950 Wilcox Ave.) for Summer 2023.
Hours:
Monday - Friday: 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Fees:
Children - $2.50 per swim
Adults - $3.50 per swim
Youth Pass (20 swims) - $38.00
Adult Pass (20 swims) - $56.00
