The Monterey Park City Council meets on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 6:30 p.m. The meetings are free and open to the public. Meetings are held to discuss and take action on issues regarding the City of Monterey Park.

Patrons are invited to view the traveling exhibition, Herstory 2, which chronicles the legal struggles of ordinary Chinese American women fighting in various U.S. courts for their rights going back to 1874.

Have an Achy Breaky Heart? Are you wondering if this is real life or just fantasy? Join Library staff to sing it out at Open Mic Karaoke! Singers will be first-come, first-served.

If you have a computer, smartphone or tablet that you need assistance with, come to Tech Hour, where a Library staff member will be present to answer your questions. Computers will also be available for one-on-one help with the internet or email. Seating is limited to a first-come, first-served basis.
