Science Saturday

Saturday, March 25, 3 p.m. in the Friends Room
Experiment, build, and learn in this monthly STEM program for children ages 6-12. Children will learn about architecture and structures in a building challenge! All materials will be provided on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. No registration is required.

Mandarin Storytime

Saturday, April 1, 3:30 p.m. in the Storytime Room
Join Miss Ana for an all ages Mandarin storytime! Hear stories, sing songs and learn rhymes in Mandarin. Caregivers must attend and are expected to participate and model good listening skills for their children.

The InbeTWEENers Club

Tuesday, April 4, 3 p.m. in the Friends Room
Tweens in 4th - 8th grade are invited to join the InbeTWEENers Club! Tweens will participate in activities meant to build friendships, self-esteem and life skills. This month, tweens will get to know their peers while building and racing meeperBots. No registration is required.

Music & Movement

Friday, April 14, 10 a.m. in the Friends Room
Join Children’s Services staff for music, movement and dancing! This monthly program is for children of all ages and their caregivers.

Spanish Bilingual Storytime

Saturday, April 15, 3 p.m. in the Storytime Room
Families are invited to join us for Spanish bilingual storytime, where they will hear books, sing songs and learn vocabulary. Children of all ages and language abilities are welcome.

Crafternoon

Thursday, April 20, 3 p.m. in the Friends Room
Get creative with the Library! Kids ages 5 – 12 will create a flower with cupcake liners, buttons and paint! All materials will be provided. No registration is required.

Homework Help

Saturdays from 2-4 p.m. in the Children's Department
The library offers free homework assistance to elementary school children during the academic year. Students may bring in assignments and receive help from high school volunteers. No registration is required but parents must remain with their children – this is not a drop off program.

Family Storytime

Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Storytime Room
Saturdays at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. in the Storytime Room
Family Storytime is for all ages. Featured stories vary in length, some encourage active listening while others invite participation. Caregivers must attend and are expected to participate and model good listening skills for their children. 

Baby & Toddler Storytime

Thursdays at 10 a.m. in the Friends Room
Designed for parents and caregivers to attend with their children, Baby Storytime includes short books, music, and nursery rhymes. These programs last about 20-25 minutes. Each baby must be accompanied by a caregiver. Baby Storytime is for children under three years of age.
